Call tones aren't only known as call
tones, they are supplied by different phone companies
under different names for reasons that are known only to
themselves.
In the ringtones industry, all the
ringtones suppliers refer to ringtones as ringtones and
nothing else.
There's some confusion in the call
tones market because call tones are being marketed under
descriptions other than call tones, some of which are
difficult to understand.
People looking for call tones for
their phones will have to look for the other terms that are
being used by companies to promote their own call tones.
Your own mobile phone company may already supply call
tones, but because they don't market them as call tones,

Like the ringtones market, where
ringtones are known universally as ringtones, we believe
that, worldwide, call tones should be know as call
tones.

through the search engines as call tones, try using some of
the alternative descriptions above when trying to
locate a call
tones service.
